About Dr. Eliza
Owner/Founder of Yavneh Psychology, PLLC. Licensed clinical psychologist. IRT Certified Trainer and Practitioner.
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist, licensed by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists in West Virginia and Maryland, and a National Register Health Service Psychologist (#65935). I'm a PSYPACT-authorized provider (#15562), which allows me to offer telehealth services across participating states. I currently work with teens and adults in West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia.
I live in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and provide telehealth psychotherapy through my private practice. I specialize in Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy (IRT) as a framework for understanding and treating a wide range of psychological concerns, and I'm one of a handful of practicing psychologists in the world certified in IRT. My work includes psychotherapy for older adolescents and adults, as well as consultation for other clinicians — particularly in IRT. I also have a strong passion for teaching, and have served as Adjunct Faculty at James Madison University and Yeshiva University at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Approach & Training
I focus on integration - understanding how your symptoms make sense and using techniques that will get to the root of the problem that sustains your symptoms. As such, I don’t lead with any singular technique but use multiple, depending on the person and what they need. Because I’m looking at the whole, I’ll ask you about your cultural factors, mental and physical health history, and attachment and learning history. I explore how you think, feel, and behave in response to your presenting concerns and all of this informs the story of how this all makes sense.
